Tori Armbrust, of Portland's OMS (Oregon Mycological Society,) shared her simple techniques for growing mushrooms at home. She started with expanding the liquid culture you can buy online so you can inoculate many jars of substrate. She talked about growing a vibrant spawn any available glass jar and then inoculating a prepared substrate (i.e.wood pellets) to grow many species of culinary and medicinal mushrooms in your home.
