First COMC meeting of 2024 is March 21!
March 21 @ 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm
2 Members of SAR teams will explain their roles in the Deschutes County Sheriff’s Search and Rescue department. They will talk about what the science says regarding the people who reach out to be rescued and what we all need to remember in our adventures in the woods. This is an important and informative talk that may save your life someday. Please join us at the Trinity Episcopal Church, 469 NW Wall, in downtown Bend, from 6:30-8 PM.
Kelly Patrick joined SAR in 2011 and is a member of the Horse, Tracking, Ground, and Winter Rescue Vehicle teams. He is also a member/trainer for ATV Snowmobiles. What Kelly enjoys most about SAR is working with a dedicated team to make a difference in someone’s life.

He and his K9 companion (Winston), are also members of the K9 Team. Ryan enjoys SAR because of the people, the purpose and the impromptu adventures SAR affords him.
