June 11, 7 PM Mushroom club meeting on Zoom!

Sorry about the absence of web presence lately. These are confusing times and that includes how it is for me. Without the group to excite me, it is hard to be inspired to write to a silent space, not knowing if anyone ever sees this. Anyway, I am getting feedback that I need to post, so that is encouraging.

All commercial Matsutake picking permits will be done online this fall and are FREE!

Oregon (Sept. 3, 2020) � Beginning next Tuesday and continuing into early November the Deschutes, Fremont-Winema and Willamette National Forests will provide an authorizing letter at no cost to allow for Matsutake collection, transport and sale instead of a paid permit. This interim change to the matsutake permitting process is a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and an effort to maximize social distancing measures to the extent possible.
